Scores

95 / 100

"50% Aligote and 50% Pinot Blanc. Half 2014 reserve and half new 2017 vintage. Crisp red apple leaps from the glass so clearly on the nose. Citrus and white flowers also, but apple so clear. Zero dosage but this is in no way hard or too dry. Finish of minerals with custard cream. Amazingly fresh and bright with Aligote acid running right through the centre. Truly beautiful. One of the highlights of the full tasting and a beautiful surprise! Tasted March 2019."

"Patisserie aromas on the nose. This is crisp and dry with lemon, apricot and green apple flavours. It's light and delicate and could easily be drunk without food. It has a charming subtlety to it, not trying too hard but a crowd pleaser all the same."
