Tasting Notes
A clear example of the elegance and silkiness of Rioja Reservas but with a more modern profile. With the complexity of long ageing in the barrel and bottle, and the delicateness of the Tempranillo. This Gran Reserva spends an incredible 24 months in oak, then a further 6 years in bottle before release. A wine with intense, meaty, savoury aromas of leather, dried herbs and cigar box. A truly special wine with incredible complexity and depth of flavour, to be savoured.
100% Tempranillo. Sourced from a selection of bush-trained vines, with an average age of 35 years. 100% hand-harvested. Aged for 24 months in American and French oak barrels followed by a further 6 years ageing in the bottle.
