TASTING NOTES
Chateau de Laubade is an agricultural and winegrowing estate located in Sorbets, in the Gers, in the heart of the finest Bas Armagnac terroir. The 105 hectares estate in a single block around the chateau, built in 1870, it has been owned by the Lesgourgues family for three generations. Today, Denis, assisted by his sister, Jeanne, and brother, Arnaud, continue their family's constant striving for excellence, with the aim of producing the most outstanding Armagnacs. Appearance: Mahogany with deep ruby flashes. Nose: Aromas of old sherry, rancio, fig, clove, cigar box, and molasses. Palate: Rich and dark-toned with flavours of dried cherry, spiced plum, and dark chocolate. Finish: Long, earthy, and savoury with a gently fading sweetness. Overall: A bold and brooding vintage - powerful yet polished, ideal for lovers of deep, complex Armagnac.
