TASTING NOTES
Chateau de Laubade is an agricultural and winegrowing estate located in Sorbets, in the Gers, in the heart of the finest Bas Armagnac terroir. The 105 hectares estate in a single block around the chateau, built in 1870, it has been owned by the Lesgourgues family for three generations. Today, Denis, assisted by his sister, Jeanne, and brother, Arnaud, continue their family's constant striving for excellence, with the aim of producing the most outstanding Armagnacs. Appearance: Reddish-gold with orange flecks. Nose: Evolved nose of stewed fruit, toffee apple, dried apricot, and tobacco. Palate: Rounded and rich with flavours of sultana, cocoa, and spiced honey. Finish: Persistent and gently tannic with a touch of rancio and dried peel. Overall: A smooth, autumnal Armagnac that delivers a plush and nostalgic experience.
