Tasting Notes
Bouquet
Generous, and already developing complexity, with layers of red and black fruits; herbal, earthy, forest floor tones; leather, five spice and cigar box; subtle oak.
Palate
Medium to muscular body, with complexity of the bouquet showing through; velvety mouth feel with lots of fine ripe tannins; solid acidity, balanced with ample juicy primary fruit. Seamless line and length, with long, chewy finish.
Cellaring
Generous fruit allows for early drinking, but this wine will age for many years.

Scores
95 / 100"Good crimson-purple hue, although not 100% bright; as ever, a complex and powerful wine, with black cherry and plum up front, then spicy/savoury/forest notes accompany the fruit on the back-palate and finish. No doubting the security of the screwcap in protecting freshness. Screwcap."
