Tasting Notes
Coming from a 117-year-old vineyard in the Marananga sub-region of the Barossa Valley, the 2014 Alte Reben Shiraz offers a deep garnet-purple colour. It opens on the nose with lovely potpourri, dusty earth, tar, and red currants with a touch of garrigue. The palate contributes great freshness, with chewy tannins with savoury/meaty characters offset by the spicy richness and finishing with a herbal lift.
