91 / 100"A juicy and complete barbera here with a lustrous nose full of spiced dark cherries, hibiscus and stones. Medium-bodied and linear on the palate with solid cherry fruit and fresh, sleek tannins. Really drinkable. Would rate higher if there was a little more depth on the mid-palate. Delicious now."

Tasting Notes
8-10 days at 26-27°C. De-stemming, soft crushing; the must is pumped over with the dèlastage system to maximise the extraction of colour and varietal aromas. After malolactic fermentation, the wine is put into small Slavonian and French oak barrels and tonneaux with weekly top-ups of the level and tasting tests to ensure the wine evolves as well as possible.
24 months, 12 of which in casks, tonneaux and 12 months in bottles. Characteristics: very intense ruby red colour. Complex and intense bouquet, with ripe berry fruit mixed with a good hint of vanilla; round, harmonious, very complex on the palate. Endowed with excellent persistence and flavour, a wine of exceptional finesse and considerable class.
