97 / 100"Medium-full colour, with a youthful tint; there are earthy/terracotta, pepper/spice and tapenade aromas of considerable complexity. The same flavours emerge in the mouth where it is medium bodied and intense with good tannins driving it with a touch of firmness, dried herbs and many other flavours chiming in. A very detailed shiraz in medium bodied regional style but with a bit more oomph than some other Tyrrell 2021s. Utterly delicious wine."
