The cuttings to plant this vineyard were 'Borrowed' by Bruce and Murray Tyrrell in the 1960s from the oldest Chardonnay vines in Australia.
The father and son famously jumped the fence to borrow these cuttings from the famous HVD vineyard.

Tasting Notes

The nose shows delicate citrus and white stonefruit with a hint of oak and sulphide lift. The palate has the generosity of Chardonnay in a toned down form. The fruit is balanced well with the fresh acidity and slight textural element from extended time on yeast lees.
