91 / 100"Kind of a cult wine, or something like that. Wisp of struck match, lime, white peach. tingle and zesty character, chalky feel, decent length with some bitterness on exit. Bit choppy as at now, and not quite the required richness and verve for a classic 63, though should improve with some bottle age."

Tasting Notes
Sourced entirely from the Pokolbin Hills vineyard, made up of Chardonnay (planted in 1980) and Semillon (planted in 1970). The percentage differs every vintage.
Well balanced white blend, showing rich Chardonnay characters as white peach and a hint of oak. This richness is embraced by the citrus core of Semillon that gives the wine its’s length acid structure. The lees work from the Chardonnay also gives the wine an added layer of complexity.
