94 / 100"A splendid expression of the variety, it's pristine and inviting on the nose with apricot, green pear, lemon peel and savoury pastry aromas, leading to a weighty palate delivering excellent focus and linear mouthfeel. Wonderfully structured by firm acidity, finishing persistent and mouth-watering. At its best: now to 2029. $29.00."

Tasting Notes
Bright yellow with green elements; typical Veltliner spice with peppery and herbal notes, dry, with fine fruit acid and of medium weight - a classic, fine Veltliner from loess soil.
Preferred accompaniment to typical Austrian home cooking, from Brettljause to juicy roast pork with Waldviertler dumplings, from Wiener Schnitzel to fried chicken. Goes equally well with numerous fish and cheese dishes.
