92 / 100"The burgeoning trend towards no-dosage champagne is a great one. It makes for champagnes that are fresher, tighter, racier and – often – more fun, like drinking an exciting youngster as opposed to sidling up to an old faithful. Dry and yet full of flavour, this drinks beautifully now and will keep the heart racing for a few years yet."

"(no dosage; LZ50303DG10/13): Light yellow. Vibrant quince, orange zest and green apple aromas are complemented by smoky minerals and honeysuckle. Stony, sharply focused citrus and orchard fruit flavors show very good energy, turning juicier and deeper with air and picking up a melony quality and a hint of anise. Finishes on intense notes of dusty minerals and ginger, with very good clarity and persistence."

"Black currant and cherry fruit is ripe and aromatic on the nose and palate of this fresh and harmonious Champagne. The airy mousse carries flavors of pastry dough, toasted almond, chalky mineral and ground anise. Drink now through 2018."

"This dry Champagne forms a good contrast with the Brut Nature Rosé from the same producer. There is more weight to this wine, more richness and, in the case of this bottling, more bottle age. With its flavors of white fruit and toast, this wine is very ready to drink, with a rich aftertaste."

Tasting Notes
For lovers of pure sensations Drappier have created a 100% Pinot Noir cuvée with no dosage. It contains only the wine's natural residual sugar at less than 2g per bottle. Moreover, the use of an absolute minimum of sulphur gives the wine the freedom to express itself totally - abundant finesse and freshness in this exquisite wine.
Golden colour with copper hues. Nose of freshly pressed black grapes, of red, white and citrus fruits - such complexity to this wine. Ample palate with flesh of vineyard peach and bouquet of aromatic herbs. Deliciously spicy notes in the finish. A fine tightly knit Champagne of incredible purity and detail.
