93 / 100"The spearmint and fresh-basil notes come through clearly, to buttress the currant and berry character on the palate. Medium to full body. Round, juicy tannins and a flavorful finish. Refined and focused. Drink or hold."

"It's matured in all-French oak and while it's mostly cabernet and merlot there's a small portion of petit verdot in the mix. It's medium weight and fluid with blackcurrant, milk chocolate and gravel notes slipping amiably through. It has shape and texture but integrity of fruit is key here. No mucking about; this is a good cabernet to drink."

Tasting Notes
The Girt by Sea wines celebrate Margaret River’s unique connection to the ocean. This wine is made to emulate the distinct and robust style that Margaret River Cabernet is known for, but in a way that’s suitable for early-drinking – meaning it is smoother, juicier and more elegant than what you might expect.
