Bestheim Chasseurs de Lune Riesling 2022

IDENTIFY
Riesling is one of the four noble Alsatian grape varieties alongside Pinot Gris, Gewurztraminer and Muscat.  Coming from a selection of our best hillsides, the richness and power of our clay-limestone terroirs gives us this wine that is at once lively, racy and ample.

WINEMAKING
Alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel vats, followed by aging on lees for more than 6 months, without malolactic fermentation in order to preserve the freshness and aromas of the grape variety.

Pale gold, golden highlights.

Very expressive nose, with citrus notes (lemon, orange zest)

Frank and clean attack with primary aromas of white flowers and citrus fruits such as lemon. A beautiful balance and a nice length enhance this wine.

Bestheim is a winemaking cooperative, resulting from successive mergers of 4 Alsace wineries. The history of Bestheim started in the village of Bennwihr, the stronghold of the famous Moon Chasers.
