Tasting Notes
A seamless entity, each grape plays its part beautifully. A lively cacophony of toasted spices and violets introduces the wine on the bouquet with an arresting spark of mint. They join with dark berries, dark chocolate and cigar box scents. There is complexity here, ie. there’s a lot happening, but it’s controlled and focused. The palate with beautifully ripened fruit and spice-herb-earth-cacao accompaniments, all handsomely dressed in well-judged French oak. Fine, supple tannins gently grip the palate.

Scores
97 / 100"This is a blend of 68/17/8/6/1% cabernet sauvignon/malbec/petit verdot/merlot. Bright crimson-purple hue heralds a very complex wine that has no need of time thanks to its balance, texture and length. It is an outstanding achievement and offers equally exceptional value for money. Top gold at Royal Adelaide Wine Show ’22, gold at Perth Royal Wine Show Awards ’22."
