""Offering excellent fruit purity and clarity, the wine shows poached pear, red apple, lemon peel and oatmeal notes on the nose, followed by a concentrated palate delivering juicy fruit intensity together with excellent focus and drive. Splendidly structured by beautifully pitched acidity, finishing long and satisfying. At its best: now to 2028.""

"Blanched almond, lemon zest and sliced apples on the nose. Generous and textured, with tangy acidity and a fruity and mouthwatering finish. Good intensity in the middle."
- James Suckling

Tasting Notes

Classic Italian Pinot Grigio - our best selling imported white wine. Made by the brilliant Cescon family - 3rd generation winemakers based just outside of Venice (this wine is sourced from their vineyard in Friuli- the home of Pinot Grigio).

The nose displays intense, lingering fragrances of nutmeg and vanilla with peach and acacia blossom. A dry and crisp palate shows lots of ripe, aromatic fruit, with hints of orange zest, mirroring the nose. A wine of exceptionally full flavour, lengthy and elegant.
