17 / 20"A very vibrant berry laden nose, raspberry and mulberry and pepper. Such vibrancy, freshness and energy on the palate with fine and detailed tannins, a red fruit core with lovely texture. Really well balanced wine that is all about the energy coursing through it’s veins. Absolutely superb."

"A burst of ripe berry fruit on the nose, this has the most gorgeous depth of expression. More tannic than in many years, but not bitter or tight. An excellent wine, walking the line of power and sappy juice. Purity of fruit expression is clear. 3.32pH. Certified biodynamic.10% new oak the rest in large sized oak vats and amphora. Unfiltered and unfined."

"The 2020 Clos Puy Arnaud has a light blackberry, raspberry and rose petal nose, plus a hint of elderflower in the background. The oak is nicely integrated, although it needs more vigor. The palate is medium-bodied with a sweet candied entry, bitter red fruit infused with orange peel, modest depth, and a slightly savory/dried blood finish where the Cabernet Franc (25%) makes its presence felt. This should age with style."

Tasting Notes
Puy Arnaud’s wine range is designed to be eclectic and creative. Its goal is to offer you wines for every occasion: fruity wines with friends, good Bordeaux at the restaurant during lunch, crisp and tense Rosé for summer holiday and Great Wine for exceptional meals. It aims to be part of the redefinition of a Bordeaux style based on freshness, drinkability, intensity of the fruit and aromatic complexity, with very energetic and persistent finishes dominating alcohol. All of that with the silkiest and finest tannins possible, in search of distinguished and optimistic wines. Our grapes are all picked by hand and transported in small crates to the cellar. We sort without material and technology excess. Our only criteria is to keep healthy grapes with diversity, a complexity factor. They are certified as organic or biodynamic (AB, Biodyvin, Demeter) by Ecocert
