The Domaines Fontana vineyard are located in Gensac, but also extends to the neighbouring communes. In 1950, Huguette and Angelo Fontana, then in their twenties, had a dream in mind and settled in the small Gironde commune to found Domaines Fontana. The work of a lifetime began, Huguette and Angelo planted vines and build a winery. The years and vintages passed and it was not only vines that grew around then, but alsi their 5 children. They grew up in the heard of the Domaine and have inherited their parent's passion. Over the generation, this heritage has grown, and today, the grandchildren have in turn joined the Fontana Estate, which in 2021 will extend to over 300 hectares.
