96 / 100"One of Australia’s finest rieslings; a benchmark riesling for me. Loads of floral perfume, preserved lemon, pretty talc scents, a bit of warm river pebble, lime juice. Delicate in the palate, more lime juice here, tart and with great energy, crispness, cool herbal notes, some chalky pucker and endless mouth-watering length. Tightly wound but slightly juicy, if you get the drift. Beautiful expression, high toned saline mineral acidity, refreshing now to the max, will last a generation."

Tasting Notes
Murrumbateman’s cool, continental climate and decomposed granite soils are perfectly suited to Riesling.
Drink now for its razor fine floral, citrus-edged fruit or cellar for up to 15 years and watch it develop lime and toast characters with age.
