90 / 100"(2020 vintage) An attractively fresh and markedly peppery nose speaks mostly of various red berries and earth. The rich and relatively full-bodied flavors possess a lovely sense of vibrancy while exhibiting a vague hint of sweetness on the youthfully austere finish. This delicious effort should repay a few years of keeping."

"(2020 vintage) What a wine ! From this Burgundy Thoroughbred comes their Beaujolais stablemate. Supremely elegant nose, spiced, herbal and damson fruit. The palate is brimming with energy, life and vibrancy – wonderfully soft tannins, sweet cherry fruit with a subtle savoury herbal note on the finish. Whack this in the fridge for half an hour before serving - Absolutely wonderful."

Tasting Notes
A unique wine, and not a typcal Beaujolais. This Gamay sourced from the region it treated in much the same way as a Burgundian Pinot Noir. With zero carbonic maceration and French oak treatment, this is a true sensory delight.
