96 / 100"Intense and powerful wine with focused varietal flavours including Black Doris plum, anise/Oriental spices, dark chocolate, liquorice and floral/violets. Beautifully textured Pinot Noir with a very lengthy finish. Terrific Pinot Noir from one of the country’s leading producers. 09 APR 2012"

"Deep, youthful purple/red colour; impressive to look at. Spicy and quite oaky aroma, some angelica. Big, muscular, powerful, very intense wine with lots of concentration and brightness. It seems young for its age. Very undeveloped and a bit unready, not especially pinoid, but very good and loaded with potential. 01 FEB 2013"
