Tasting Notes
Montepulciano is the second most common grape variety in Italy and is planted in central and southern Italy most notably in Abruzzo but also in the Marche region where Adele's dad's family are from.
The Barossa Valley is Australia’s best-known wine region and this is one of the reasons why.
Deep purple red in colour, the wine has lovely spicy plum and bay leaf aromas and these lead to a rich chunky palate stacked with flavour and balanced nicely with acidity and tannin.
Pairs well with a beef fillet and venison.
A wine “for the boys” who like them big!
