95 / 100"Sourced from two estate vineyards, one planted 1899, the other in 1965, matured in American and French oak for 15 months, neither fined nor filtered. This shiraz has a luxuriant display of sweet fruit wrapped in Swiss chocolate; carries its alcohol well thanks to spicy/savoury tannins on the finish."

Tasting Notes
The Kaesler family were pioneers who settled in the Barossa Valley in the 1840s. In 1891 they bought a parcel of land and in 1893 planted their first vines. In 1999, winemaker Reid Bosward seized the opportunity to become the head of the new Kaesler family when he and his partners bought Kaesler, becoming just the third owners of the property
