Tasting Notes

The 2021 Roaring Meg Pinot Noir is an excellent expression of the classic New Zealand variety. Deep and dark in colour, it offers complex aromas of red and black cherries, with touches of baking spice. Velvety and bold in the mouth, it features ripe notes of strawberry, boysenberry, currants and black cherries, while balancing spicy oak flavours such as cinnamon and star anise. The finish is long-lasting and full-bodied with silky tannins that linger on the taste buds. Undoubtedly a memorable treat for the vino enthusiast.
