96 / 100"Gorgeously fruited and enticing, the bouquet shows dark fruit intensity, clove, star anise, toasty oak and dark chocolate aromas, leading to a superbly weighted palate offering outstanding depth and plush texture. Wonderfully framed by beautifully melded tannins, making it delectable and highly enjoyable."

Tasting Notes
Lifted dark cherry, cherry Chinotto (Cola), touch of vanilla, caramel, toffee. Spicy oak and brown spice aromas.
Palate: Big, rich, plush full flavoured, round fruit sweet mid palate. Characters reminiscent of Panettone; dried sultanas and peel with hints of all spice. Finishes with pleasant powdery tannins, giving length and balancing the sweet mid palate.
This wine was fermented in open fermenters with moderate American oak influence. It's plush with length, mid palate sweetness from the fruit adding structure and texture to Pair with a beautiful cut of beef – Wagyu, rib eye – cooked over hot charcoal. Alternatively it can be drunk on any occasion and with correct cellaring can be enjoyed for many years.
Cellar for 15 years or more.
