Tasting Notes
The wine has been matured in new and one year old French oak. Outstanding, opaque crimson / black colour. Aromas of vanilla and confectionery. The palate is equally impressive with chocolate, blackcurrant and liquorice flavours dominant. Excellent palate weight, fine grained, firmish tannins, but well balanced with long blackcurrant and liquorice aftertaste

Scores
97 / 100"Medium to full purple-red; the exceptional quality of this wine comes from the perfectly and precisely articulated cabernet varietal character on both bouquet and palate. It achieves a magic balance of the slight austerity which all great young Cabernet has, and yet a core of cassis and blackberry fruit which gives the wine immediate appeal. The tannin and oak management is impeccable, doing no more than providing a frame for the wonderful fruit."
